The Back order interface from IMS to DIMS enhancement will help to optimize the accuracy of stock order calculation and the efficiency of stock order placing to IMS by the dealer.

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Utilities > Mercedes-Benz parameters and you browse to Parts > Backorder Interface from IMS to DIMS parameters > [no. Company name] on the Project parameters browser.
Backorder interface functionality:

Interface activated: Select to activate Backorder interface from IMS to DIMS for the current POS company.
Global location ID: Enter the global region ID (for example: 96 - China). Maximum 3 characters.
Local location ID: Enter the local location ID (for example: 18 - Bejing). Maximum 3 characters.
MB communication type: Select a MB communication type from the dropdown list. This type is used to run the transmission of the Backorder interface file.
Parts order status mapping grid:
This grid will be available once the Interface is activated. In this grid, the parts order statusses of the current SO company can be mapped to MB specific DIMS order statusses.
SO parts order status: Lists the Autoline parts order statusses.
MB parts order status: Left-click to select the MB parts order status from the dropdown list:
- Not set, record will not be exported
ORD - Ordered
DEL - Delivered
BOR - Backordered
CAN - Cancelled
BRL - Released
Note: WIP lines which order status has not been mapped to an export MB parts order status, will not be exported.
