The Integration of Financial Services is located in the Showroom module. It enables you to export quote data from Showroom to Third Party POS systems and import data back to Autoline.
Transfer the quote to the external POS systems.
To export Quote data:
From the Main menu, select the Showroom option, combined with the company required.
The Showroom Main Menu is displayed.
From the Showroom Main menu, select the Quotations option.
The Showroom Customer Enquiries form is displayed.
Create or use an existing quote of a used or new vehicle, via the icons New vehicle, Used vehicle or Recall Enquiry.
The Showroom Enquires - Cash Estimate/Quotation/Order for [customer name] form is displayed.
Click on the MBFS export toolbar button or menu bar command File>Export.
The Export the Quote message is displayed.
Click Yes to export the quote or click No to cancel the operation.
Note: Clicking No will return to the quote without export.
The Quote exported is displayed in case of a successful export.
If you cannot carry out the preceding step, because the Enter MilesWeb user ID message is displayed, do the following instead:
Enter the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services user ID and you click the File > Save menu bar command.
Note: Clicking File > Exit menu bar command will exit the form and not export the Showroom quote
The entered user ID is saved on the Mercedes-Benz user record for the current Autoline user and use it in all communication with MilesWeb and the showroom quote is exported.
After the file is stored to the client, it is opened in a local browser session on the computer of the user. The user is redirected to the MilesWeb application.
The Quote exported is displayed in case of a successful export.
Click OK to continue.
Note: When using the Leasebase function of the Quote export then the Communication type QUOT (Showroom Quote Export) needs setting up in the Communication program, so that you can transfer the exported data to the external POS systems. The field module should contain SR.
Note: When using the MilesWeb function of the Quote export then the user environment setting ENV("PCWORKDIR") needs to be setup in the UsrEnv.txt.
