In Workshop loading you have additional functions during planning and clocking jobs. To use this functionality you need to setup the parameters accordingly.
This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Utilities > Mercedes-Benz parameters and you browse to Service > + Workshop Loading Parameters > [no. Company name] on the Project parameters browser. It defines the parameters for additional functionality during planning and clocking jobs in Workshop loading and functionality in Point of Sale.

Display stopped reasons in Jobs form parameter:
Additional labour status for clocking: Select what additional labour status is required for clocking.
– Not used: The Additional labour status for clocking function is not activated.
A – Awaiting authority: The Awaiting authority status will allow further clockings via the Jobs form.
P – Awaiting parts: The Awaiting parts status will allow further clockings via the Jobs form.
AP – Both Awaiting authority and parts: The Awaiting authority status and Awaiting parts status will allow further clockings via the Jobs form.
Split work automatic parameters:
Maximum times of splitting a job (days): Enter the maximum number of days that the job is automatically split. The automatic split function splits the allowed time of a job for the number of days the car is in the workshop.
Minimum value of time a job can be split into (minutes): Enter the minimum number of minutes that the job is split into. For example, entering 15 minutes makes the split over 3 days unavailable for a task with allowed time 30 minutes.
Fields:
Allow manual split: Select to activate the manual split in WL.
Display AW values: Select to use AW values in WL instead of hours in WL.
Update Contact: Select to update the operator of the current WIP with the operator from repeat the repair WIP.
Ignore auto-setting: Select to ignore the automatic setting of customer contact and WIP owner.
Priority for subsequent check in/out: Enter the POS operator priority that a user must have to check in/out a vehicle a second time.
Enable data caching: Select to enable data caching for WL actual load and the capacity overview.
Use bonus time: Select to display the bonus time in the WL forms instead of allowed time.
Bonus difference: Enter the percentage that the bonus time can differ from the allowed time in the Labour Details form.
Allow overtime: Enter the number of minutes that can be added as overtime.
Note: Enter zero to disable overtime allowance.
Automatically create overtime: Select to extend the shift time automtically with the minutes defined in parameter field Allow overtime when using option Continue using overbooking in the End of Shift form.
Autom. overtime reason: Select a WL reason code for automatic overtime bookings.
Squeeze job: Enter the number of minutes that will be allowd to be squeezed additionally into a planning block.
Note: Enter zero to disable overtime allowance.
Priority for squeezing: Enter the priority that a user must have to use job squeezing.
Alert checks:
Note: These options enable or disable the alerts in the Jobs form by default.
Check in alert: Select to set the alert when the check in not done before scheduled start.
WIP status alert alert: Select to set the alert when the manually entered status on clocking form for more work, awaiting parts or authorisation does not match the labour status.
Courtesy car alert: Select to set the alert when a courtesy car is booked but no car is available.
Back order parts alert: Select to set the alert when parts are on the WIP but are not available.
Resource alert: Select to set the alert when the WL resource record planned for the assigned tasks has not left.
Loan vehicle alert: Select to set the alert to filter all WIPs which are linked to a load vehicle booking with no vehicle magic number linked to the booking.
Dates not aligned alert: Select to set the alert to filter any WIPS where the customer dates are not aligned with the planned dates if they are not blank.
Show alerts in grid: Select to show all alerts for a WIP in the grid.
Field:
Automatic load the same day: Select to apply automatically load of jobs in for the same day.
Meet - Greet:
Use guided planning: Select to activate guided planning when starting the Workshop Loading booking process in Point of Sale. (NDL Specific)
Show customer contact: Select to show the customer contact in the Confirmation Meet and Greet form. (NDL Specific)
Note: The Show customer contact field is available if the field Use guided planning is selected.
Hand-in w/o customer code: Enter the RTS or menu code that is used for handing over the vehicle to the service advisor without receiving the customer. (NDL Specific)
Hand-in code: Enter the RTS or menu code that is used for handing over the vehicle from the customer to the service advisor.
Note: If no RTS codes is set up in this field, the Confirmation Meet and Greet form will not be displayed when starting the WL booking process.
Extended hand-in/-out code: Enter the RTS or menu code that is used for extended hand-in or hand-out of the vehicle from or to the customer.
Hand-out code: Enter the RTS or menu code that is used for handing over the vehicle from the service advisor to the customer.
Note: The RTS codes are validated on saving. Therefore they must be set up before it is possible to save the parameter.
Note: If no RTS codes are entered in the Extended hand-in code and Hand-out code fields, it will not be possible to select these options in the Confirmation Meet and Greet form.
Default tick Checkboxes:
Hand-in w/o cust.: Select to set the hand-in w/o customer code as default in the Confirmation Meet and Greet form. (NDL Specific)
Hand-in: Select to set the hand-in code as default in the Confirmation Meet and Greet form.
Extended: Select to set the extended hand-in/-out code as default in the Confirmation Meet and Greet form.
Hand-out: Select to set the hand-out code as default in the Confirmation Meet and Greet form.
Fields:
Report for CRM MyWIP display: Enter the report containing the column definition for the MK MyWip display.
Standard RTS group code: Enter the standard RTS code that is used for cummulating WIP lines.
Display summary form on WIP: Select to display the summary form in the WIP.
Cost centre option: Select the update/creation method for the TARCC record in CRM when invoicing a WIP.
0 – Use standard functionality: The invoicing operator is automatically created as the cost centre in CRM.
1 – No update: No customer cost centre is created. If a cost centre already exists it will not be changed.
2 – Create with Customer contact: If no customer cost centre record exists, it is created but the customer contact is used as sales executive.
3 – Create/update with customer contact: If no customer cost centre record exists, it is created but the customer contact is used as executive. If a customer cost centre record exists, it is updated and the sales executive is updated with the customer contact.
WIP status codes:
WIP status codes can be manually assigned to WIPs in the POS Desktop for filtering.
Grid:
Code: Enter a user defined WIP status code.
Description: Enter a description for the WIP status code.
Note: Right click on the header line to Add or Delete a WIP status code.
WIP chase status: Enter the WIP status code that is used as chase status code.
Note: When assigning a chase status code to a WIP in the POS Desktop, a notification is displayed in Point of Sale after the defined amount of minutes.

Note: The order, position and availability of the fields might be different on your system.
Move hand back line: Select to offer this line as last line for booking in WL.
Display overtime reminder: Select to display a reminder to remove the overtime entry when WIP with overtime is removed.
Exclude RTS codes: Select to exclude the RTS codes for Meet and Greet and Grouping from the PBS form.
Note: The PBS functionality is only available in Germany.
Add teams: Select to add the selected team in WL day view view to the WL team filter.
Customer time option: Select to use the update method of the Customer Date and Time fields in Point of Sale when booking Meet and Greet lines. (NDL Specific)
0 – Use standard functionality: The Customer fields are updated with the workshop opening times.
1 – Use M&G time: The customer start date and time is always updated when the Meet and Greet line is booked and is set to the same time as the planned start date and time from WL. The customer end date and time is set when the hand back line is booked and is set to the date and time the hand back booking starts.
Note: If no hand back option is booked, the end time is set to the end of the last repair.
2 – Use M&G time if empty: The customer date and time is only changed as in option 1 if the fields are empty.
WL planning sort: Select to activate the team sort order for the resources in the WL day form. (NDL Specific)
Use team unassignment: Select to connect a task to a team when a task is unassigned. (NDL Specific)
Prio for Calndr copy: Enter the priority required to be able to copy the WL calendar in the Workshop calendar form and to display the Bank Holidays form. (NDL Specific)
POS Desktop:
Use units in POS desktop: Select to display the allowed time in the POS Desktop in units .
POS Desktop access: Select to activate additional filters and columns in the POS Desktop.
Show operator: Select the operator detail to show in the Owner column in POS Desktop. The default is Customer contact.

Note: If no operator has been selected on the Operators tab of the WIP, the owner column on the Desktop will be left blank.
