Confirmation Meet & Greet

The Confirmation Meet & Greet form is used to select Meet and Greet lines in order to plan them on Service Advisors in Workshop Loading. For NDL only it is also possible to plan the Hand-in of the vehicle without receiving a customer and to select a Repair Team and/or a customer contact.

Confirmation Meet & Greet form

This form is displayed if you select Workshop > Load from the toolbar in the Point of Sale form and then select the Load button in the This Job section of the Workshop Launch Control form.

Note: This form is available if at least Meet and Greet RTS code for Hand-in is set up in the Workshop Loading Parameters.

Menu Bar and Action:

Menu Bar Action
File > Load Starts Workshop Loading and enables planning the selected Meet and Greet options.
File > Close Starts Workshop Loading without considering any selected Meet and Greet options.

Help > Help Displays this help file in a Web Browser
Help > About Displays information about program version and product-ID

Fields:

Tip: The label descriptions can be customised if the RTS Code contains a text in the first field of the Description section. (NDL Specific)

Hand-in without customer: Select to plan the vehicle hand in without receiving the customer. (NDL Specific)

Note: This field is available if a valid Global Data RTS code is defined in the Meet - Greet section of the Workshop Loading Parameters.

Load hand-in line: Select to plan the vehicle hand with receiving the customer.

Load extended hand-in/-out line: Select to plan the extended vehicle hand with receiving the customer.

Load hand-out line: Select to plan the vehicle hand over to the customer.

Meet & Greet options NDL only:

Repair Team: Select a repair team from the list.

Note: In case an Owning operator is selected in Point of Sale, the Repair Team is automatically populated with this Owning Operator.

Note: This field is available if the field Use guided planning is selected in the Meet - Greet section in the Workshop Loading Parameters.

Customer contact: Select a customer contact from the list.

Note: Only resources with resource type A will be available in the customer contact dropdown.

Note: This field is available if the field Show customer contact is selected in the Meet - Greet section of the Workshop Loading Parameters.

Plan Meet and Greet options

To plan the Meet and Greet options:

  1. Click the Load button in the Point of Sale form.

    The Workshop Launch Control form is displayed.

  2. Click the Load button in the This Job section of the Workshop Launch Control form.

    The Confirmation Meet & Greet form is displayed.

  3. Select the required Meet & Greet options.

  4. Click the Load button.

    The Workshop Load form is displayed.

  5. Select a day.

    The WL day view form is displayed.

  6. Plan the Meet & Greet options on a service advisor and the labour on the mechanics.

  7. Click the Save button.

    The Point of Sale form is displayed. The Customer Date and Time fields are updated and the No Welcome Terminal field is not selected.

    Note: The Customer Date and Time fields are updated according to the Customer time option field in the Workshop Loading Parameters.

    Note: The field Vehicle checked is selected if one of the Meet and Greet options Load hand-in line and/or Load extended hand-in line are planned.

Plan Hand-in without customer

To plan Hand-in without customer:

Note: This option is only available on NDL systems and if a valid Global Data RTS code is set up in the Workshop Loading Parameters.

  1. Click the Load button in the Point of Sale form.

    The Workshop Launch Control form is displayed.

  2. Click the Load button in the This Job section of the Workshop Launch Control form.

    The Confirmation Meet & Greet form is displayed.

  3. Select Hand-in without customer.

  4. Click the Load button.

    The Workshop Load form is displayed.

  5. Select a day.

    The WL day view form is displayed.

  6. Plan the Meet & Greet option on a service advisor and the labour on the mechanics.

  7. Click the Save button.

    The Point of Sale form is displayed. The Customer Date and Time fields are updated and the No Welcome Terminal field is selected.

    Note: The Customer Date and Time fields are updated according to the Customer time option field in the Workshop Loading Parameters.
