The Compose message form is displayed after clicking the Fax option when printing in Showroom, Vehicle Stockbook and Point of Sale. The email settings are defined in the POS Printing Parameters and Sales Printing Parameters.
Note: When reprinting a document in via Document Retrieval this form is called Fax & Print Reprint document.
This form is displayed when you click the Fax option when printing a document in Showroom, Vehicle Stockbook or Point of Sale. It sends an mail with the required information to the customer.

Note: The Fax only and Fax + print toolbar buttons are unavailable until the Fax number is entered.
Fields:
To (contact): Defaults the name of the selected customer. This can be manually replaced.
Fax number: Select the source fax number to be used. The default source type will be as setup in the settings per document grid in POS Printing Parameters. Available options are:
Manual: Select to manually enter a fax number.
Sales Ledger: Select to use the fax number as per the Sales Ledger record. The fax number field will be populated with the fax number and the field will be non-editable.
CRM: Select to use the fax number as per the CRM record. The fax number field will be populated with the fax number and the field will be non-editable.
Note: The fax source field will not be shown when the Address source setting on document level is not selected. If not selected, the field will be populated with the fax number on the customer record or can be typed in manually.
Fax number: Defaults the fax number from the customer record. This can be manually replaced.
Subject: Filled based on the document requested. This can be amended.
Message: Enter a message for the customer, it is displayed on the fax cover page.
Email notification of fax status:
Email notification can be sent to the user to confirm a failed or successful transmission.
Email address: Defaults, if available, the Email address of the user. This can be manually replaced.
Send notification in case of failure: Select if you want to send a mail in case the transmission failed to the previous entered email address.
Send notification in case of successful transmission: Select if you want to send a mail in case the transmission succeeded to the previous entered email address.
