Calculating Layer Mask

The Layer Mask Calculator form calculates the layer mask for one or multiple layers.

To calculate a layer mask:

  1. Select one or multiple layers by clicking the gridline.

    A tick is displayed in front of the layer and the layer mask is calculated at the bottom of the form.

  2. Click the File > Save menu bar command or Save Save.gif toolbar button.

    Stores the calculated layer mask in the Print form layer mask parameter.

Layer Mask Calculator Form

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Utilities > Mercedes-Benz parameters and you browse, for example, to Service > + POS Printing Parameters > [no. Company name] on the Project parameters browser to display the POS Printing Parameters and you click the Preview, fax and Email tab > Print form layer mask ellipsis [...] button. It calculates the layer mask for one or multiple layers.

Menu Bar and Toolbar:

Menu bar Toolbar Action
File > Close Exit.gif Returns you to the previous form.
File > Save Save.gif Stores the calculated layer mask in the parameter.

Edit > Select all Includes all layers when calculating the layer mask.
Edit > Deselect all Excludes all layers when calculating the layer mask.

Help > Help Help2.gif Displays this help topic in a web browser.

Grid:

Select the layers you want to include in the mask.

First column: A tick indicates that the layer is included when calculating the layer mask.

Second column: Displays the name of the layer.
