Supersession Search

This search function is available to search for existing supersessions easily, by setting filters. This functionality can be used to report parts which are in the stock supersession file but not in the MB supersession file.

Filter fields:

Partnumber: Enter the part number to search for supersessions. Partial part numbers are allowed. The program will filter on both the from and the to part numbers. The supersession record will be displayed if either one of the parts match on the part number filter.

Stock: Select the filtering option. This filter will check if either the from or to part number has stock available and will filter accordingly.

Source: Select the source from where the supersession record was created.

Note: The field source on the stock management supersession table will be filled automatically when new supersessions are created.

Tip: The field source will be empty if this development is implemented on an existing system. The search program will in that case check the MB supersession tables and will mark the supersession as a MB supersession, if the MB supersession record is found. The supersesion will be marked as ma (manual) if the supersession is not found in the MB supersession file.
