User Settings Form

This form is displayed when you select Tools > User settings on the toolbar of the Mercedes-Benz Specific User Details Form.

From the User settings form it is possible to view and to delete user stored settings. The user stored settings can be grouped by user id or by the settings group. Depending on your selection, it is possible to only delete one specific setting for an user, multiple settings per user(s) or all settings.

File > Delete selected Cross Select to delete all the records marked for deletion.
File > Close Exit Closes the form and returns to the Mercedes-Benz Specific User Details Form.
Group > Group by user SortName Displays the user stored settings grouped by user id in the left hand side grid.
Group > Group by settings group SortName Displays the stored settings grouped by settings group in the left hand side grid.
Help > Help Help Displays, in a web browser, a help page describing the form.

Left hand side Grid:

Left-click on a record to have the details populated in the settings grid.

Note: If an user id has been selected on the Mercedes-Benz Specific User Details Form, only the stored settings for that user will be available.

User id (Name) Grid:

This is the default view. It can be selected from toolbar Group > Group by user.

Column 1: Indicates if the record is expanded or collapsed. Left-click on the header to expand/collapse all records.

Column 2: Display the user id and user name of the users which have stored settings. If the record is expanded, the settings group name(s) is also displayed.

Column 3: Select to mark the record to be deleted. If the background colour is grey, it indicates that not all settings has been marked for deletion. Left-click on the header to mark all records for deletion.

Note: If the main record (in this case the user id) is selected, all the user id’s settings will be marked for deletion.

Settings group Grid:

This view is only displayed when Group > Group by settings group has been selected from the toolbar.

Column 1: Indicates if the record is expanded or collapsed. Left-click on the header to expand/collapse all records.

Column 2: Display the settings group name which have stored settings. If the record is expanded, the user id and user name of all users for the selected settings group is also displayed.

Column 3: Select to mark the record to be deleted. If the background colour is grey, it indicates that not all settings has been marked for deletion. Left-click on the header to mark all records for deletion.

Note: If the main record (in this case the settings group) is selected, the whole group will be marked for deletion.

Settings Grid:

This grid displays the details of the current record selected in the Grid on the left hand side, as well as all settings marked for deletion.

Module: Displays the module of the user setting.

Company: Displays the company number of the user setting.

Setting Name: Displays the name of the user setting.

Sequence: Displays the sequence number of the user setting stored in the table.

Value: Displays the value of the user setting stored in the table.

Delete: Select to mark the record for deletion. Left-click on the header to mark all records for deletion.
