Baumuster 80 form

All the fields on the Baumuster 80 form are explained below.

• 00=PC, 10=PV: Determines if a vehicle is a Passenger Car or Commercial Vehicle
• Baumuster: Derived from the fourth up to and including ninth position of the chassis number.
• Steering: Contains a 1 for a left steering vehicle, and a 2 for a right steering vehicle
• Plant: Determines the factory in which the vehicle is build
• From production: Start of the production number range
• Until production: End of the production number range
• Motornumber from: Start of the motornumber range
• Motornumber until: End of the motornumber range
• Model from: Start of the model range
• Model until: Start of the model range
• Family group:

  Family group > 20 CV= Book = 19 PC= Book = 03

  Family group <= 20 CV= Book = 18 PC= Book = 02

• Type code: Should contain always 99 in this case
• Fuel type: Determines the fuel type of the vehicle
• Converter exhaust: 1 position converter exhaust.
• Weight < 3.5 ton: Weight of the vehicle when below 3.5 ton
• Type description: Description of the model
• Axles: Contains the number of axles
• Weight: Weight of the vehicle
