The EKS log file

Every change done by the EKS program is stored in a log file. This log file stores all the changes done in the current month with an import and can be viewed via the View log option in the File menu. Per month a new log file is created.

Explanation of the fields in the log file:

  • Table: The Autoline table that is updated.
  • Magic: The updated or created magic number in this table.
  • Date: Date when the update was done.
  • Time: Time when the update was done.
  • Userid: User ID of the user that did the update. This will be 'EOD; when the program was executed by the agent.
  • Action: 'C' when it is created, 'U' when it was an update and 'D' in case of a deletion".
  • Field: The name of the field that is updated.
  • Oldvalue: The contents of this field just before the update.
  • Newvalue: The new field contents received form EKS.
