Possible errors during import

When trying to enter the EKS Interface or when trying to import a EKS file, some errors may occur because of incomplete set up. Some errors are explained below.

One of the following files does not exist:

MB.MS.tadef
MB.MS.codef
MS.MB.vedef
MB.MB.locex
MB.MS.targt
MB.MS.compy
MB.MS.vehic
MB.MS.vsrec
**.MK.vehic.ek ** should be filled with the Marketing company number.

Solution: Create the files in the File Utilities option in the Tab menu.

Plausibility check failed: Dealer number in the file (217027) is invalid.

In this case the Dealernumber parameter in the EKS and BIX parameters in the Marketing area of the MB parameters for the Marketing company is different than the dealer number in the EKS Import file.

Note: The plausibility check is comparing the first three positions of the dealernumber from the EKS import file with the first three positions of the Comparts dealer number on the MB parameter record. The last two positions of the dealernumber from the EKS import file (total 6 positions) with the last two postions of the Comparts dealer number (total 5 positions) on the MB parameter record.

Plausibility check failed: Sequence number is invalid.

The sequence number of every EKS Import file that is imported by the EKS Interface is stored in the EKS parameters. If the sequence number of the file that you want to import is lower or equal to the sequence number in the parameters, this indicates that the file has already been imported and the plausibility check fails.
