Before vehicle records can be transmitted, they must pass a plausibility check. If there are errors in the record, a dialog box is displayed when a plausibility check is run. The Plausibility check is run via the UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form.
The UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form can be displayed via Vehicle Stockbooks or via Manufacturer Systems:
Click Vehicle stockbooks > [no. Company name] > Vehicle administration > File > Vehicle > Used Vehicle stock followed by File > Open select the used vehicle you require and click File > Load. The Vehicle Administration form will be redisplayed with the used vehicle details in the form fields. Click Franchise > Additional Details. The UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form is displayed.
Or, click Manufacturer Systems > Menu - Sales > Menu - UVS-In > UVS-In interface, select the gridline of the vehicle required and click OK. The UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form is displayed.
To perform a vehicle plausibility check:
In UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form click

One of three things can happen:
A dialog box will be displayed indicating no errors were found.
The UVS-In - plausibility errors dialog box will be displayed with a list of UVS-In errors that must be corrected, before you can transmit the vehicle record. Also the fields that are advisable to fill are displayed, preceded with WARNING !.
The Warnings on Advisory fields dialog box will be displayed with a list of fields that you might want to correct. The vehicle record can be transmitted with or without corrections of these fields.
