EPC Set-up

Autoline uses an export file to load the parts into the WIP. This file is updated when a part is selected on the shoppinglist in the EPC. This function is not standard enabled and should therefore be configured within the EPC.

The following parameters need to be checked/changed for every EPC terminal where this interface is used.

• Start the EPC Flexible Publishing.

• Select the Goto menu and select Application Index.

• Select option Utilities from the displayed menu.

• Enter as system password MBAG.

• The Transfer part list to file, Chassis in part list, Code in part list, Remarks in part list parameters should be set on ON.

• Save the changes by pressing the Enter-key.

File modification timing

In the flexible EPC, the shopping list transfer file is updated every time a part is selected on the current shopping list in the EPC. Until the transfer list is cleared, parts are added to the transfer file.

This includes the following:

A user opens the EPC. At this time the shopping list in the flexible EPC is initialised to be empty, so the transfer file is written with no parts data.

A part is added to the EPC shopping list.

The user makes any modifications to the list in the Shopping List Display screen in the EPC, such as adding a gratuity or changing the quantity of the part.

Note: The selected parts stay on the shoppinglist until the list is cleared manually. This should be done every time a new shopping list is created for Autoline. This can be done from the Review List menu with List Utils options.

To clear the shopping list transfer file:

Select Clear current list from the List utils menu to clear the current list.
