Alternative or superseded parts

When you create a shoppings list, it is always possible that some of the parts on the list have been superseded or that this part has an alternative.

You can recognise the superseded or alternative part by the highlighted background.

To load the alternative part onto a WIP:

1. Double click the superseded partnumber, a screen is opened with a chain of partnumbers.

2. Select the required part. Pay attention on the free stock and the date raised of the part.

3. Press the OK button. Now the selected part is on your shopping list.

4. Deselect any items that you do not want to load onto the WIP.

   Tip: All items are selected by default. To deselect or select an item, click the Load column. Ensure that a tick symbol appears against any items that you want to load.

5. Click the Load to Wip button.

   The system loads the selected labour items onto the WIP.

6. You can now process the WIP in the normal way.
