The Star Damage Code interface offers the possibility to search for damage code. The interface enables e.g. you to select the damage code for a selected labour item or in the VEGA warranty module. The interface can be used to create a Damage code items list which can than be transmitted to Point-of-Sale module of Autoline.
When selecting the Damagekey button on the Mercedes-Benz Overall view screen, a backgroundcall is performed to the Star Damage code interface. When you have a damage code selected, it is assigned to the selected labour line on the Autoline WIP.
From the Vega Retail program it is also possible to select and assign a damagecode. When selecting the Add New button on the Damage codes tab of the VEGA Retail interface, the Searching a Damage code screen is shown.
When selecting the WIS button, you have the possibility to select damage codes from the Star Damage code interface. The selected damage codes are taken over to the Vega Retail claim.
Before you can start using the Star Exchange interface, you must have your parameters setup. The Star Exchange parameters are stored within the Manufacturer Systems module.
To setup the Star Exchange parameters you must:
Use Star Exchange: Select this parameter when the Star Exchange interface should be used in stead of the local installed versions of EPC, WIS and ASRA.
STAR NETWORK Call: This parameter will be used to call the start network functionality.
