Star Standard Interface
The Star Standard interface is used to create an operating order items list. This list can than be transmitted to Point-of-Sale module of Autoline. Next to that is it also possible to retrieve in the background the allowed time for an in Autoline selected operating item.
To start the Star Standard Interface, you must:
Background call for retrieving allowed time
There are two possibilities to retrieve the allowed time for a labour operation via the background call to the Star Standard program. Both options are explained below.
- The first option is to retrieve the allowed time when a new labour operation is added to the WIP. The labour operations are not selected from the Star Workshop interface, but from the labour operations in Autoline.
- When searching for a labour operation code, the labour operations codes are presented in the RTS Code Search screen. When the Asra checkbox is ticked, background call will be processed to the Star Standard program.
- When the background call is processed.
- Directly after retrieving information back from the Star Standard program, the Standard Labour operation screen shown with the retrieved time from Star Standard.
The ASRA background call is performed during a complete Autoline session. Of course it is possible to tick the parameter off when the call is not wanted anymore.
When the background call parameters is set, the call is also performed when the Labour operation code is typed in the New product area. See the example below.
- It is also possible to load the allowed time via the background call for an already loaded labour operation. This can be done via the Overall screen. Selecting the Overall function in the Reports menu will activate this form.
- Selecting the Overall function will open the Mercedes-Benz Overall view screen.
- On the WIS/ASRA tab, all the labour lines of the WIP are displayed.
- To retrieve the allowed time from ASRA via the background call, you must select the line for which you want to retrieve the allowed time and select the Allowed time button. The background call will be performed and the time will be updated.
