Viewing Warranty Claims

The Claims function of Campaign settings lets you view Point of Sales WIPs processed as Warranty claims for vehicles.

What do you want to do?

• Search for all claims for a specific vehicle.
• Search for missing warranty claimed serviced vehicles.
• Search for all serviced campaign vehicles with warranty claims.

Show All Warranty Claims Form

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Service > Menu - Service campaigns > New service campaigns module > Settings > Check warranty claims - Warranty button.

Grid:

Chassis: Indicates the Serviced vehicles chassis number.

WIP: Point of Sales claimed WIP number.

Claim: WIP recorded Warranty claim number.

Damagekey: Indicates the damage code key associated with the WIP claim.

Campaign: Indicates the number and description of the associated campaign.

Missing: Indicates that the vehicle is Serviced but is missing from the campaign.

Option buttons:

• Search for all chassis: Displays all claims for a specific vehicle.

• Search serviced vehicles missing in campaigns: Displays all warranty claimed serviced vehicles that are missing from the warranty claim.

• Search all serviced vehicles: Displays all found serviced vehicles.

Buttons:

Search: Activate the search for claims based upon the search selection criteria.

Add: Add a Service claimed vehicle to the campaign.

Exit: Exit the Search for Claims option and return back to the Campaign Settings function.

Help: Displays this help topic in a web browser.

Searching for All Claims for a Specific Vehicle

To search for all claims for a specific vehicle:

1. Clicking the Search for claims for Chassis button activates the chassis entry field

2. Enter the required chassis number into the chassis entry field.

3. Clicking the Search button activates the search of campaigns for the entered chassis number.

Searching for Missing Warranty Claimed Serviced Vehicles

Search for all warranty claimed serviced vehicles that are missing from the warranty claim.

To search for missing warranty claimed serviced vehicles:

1. Click the Search serviced vehicles missing in campaigns button.

2. Clicking the Search button activates the search of serviced vehicles with Warranty claims numbers but not within any campaigns.

Searching for All Serviced Vehicles with Warranty Claims

To search for all serviced vehicles with warranty claims:

1. Click the Search all serviced vehicles button.

2. Clicking the Search button activates the search of all serviced vehicles in campaigns.
