MDPlus Interface

To enter the MDPLUS Interface, you must:

• Select the Manufacturer Systems module from the Main menu, combined with company MB.
• Select from the Mercedes-Benz Main menu the Menu - Sales option.
• Select from the Mercedes-Benz Sales menu the Menu - Franchise Data option.
• Select from the Mercedes-Benz Franchise Data menu the MDPLUS Franchise Data import option.
• The MDPLUS Franchise Data Import screen is opened. All fields and options are explained below.

To start the MDPLUS file import, you must:

• Select the Import MDPLUS data option from the Convert menu.
• When the Import MDPLUS data is started several messages are shown within the MDPLUS Franchise Data Import screen.
  • Message window: The Message window shows what the import program is doing. Most of possible messages are explained below.
  • Action indicator: The Action indicator is updated every 15 seconds to indicate that the process is still running.
  • Progress bar: The Progress bar gives a graphical indication how far the import process is.
• The import program will automatically extend the Autoline file sizes in case a file has no space available to store the MDPLUS data. This will slow down the import process and it is therefore recommended to set the sizes of the files big enough before starting the import.
• In the Tools menu contains the Show file information option. This option will show the files in red when it is recommended to extend them. The system administrator is able to this.
