System Maintenance Menu

The System Maintenance menu is displayed when the System maintenance option is selected from the ADVANCED ANALYSIS menu.

From the System maintenance menu, you can control certain System maintenance functions.

Prevent/allow access: If there is a need to prevent other users from entering Advanced Analysis, this option is used. By preventing access, you can stop new users entering the Advanced Analysis module. When current users leave Advanced Analysis, this option will prevent them from re-entering.

Access must be allowed again from the terminal on which the Prevent/allow access option was originally run.

Reset in use flags: This option should only be run after a system crash or failure, and only when there are no other users in Advanced Analysis or any of its options. It is generally run by the system supervisor. It should only be run after consultation with KCC support personnel.

Verify files: Automatic file verification. This option verifies the database structure of all the files in the Advanced Analysis part of the database.

File usage statistics:The statistics on the usage of all the Advanced Analysis files. A reproduction of the data that is entered when you create the afile.

System parameters:Advanced Analysis System parameters. This screen will be defaulted when you begin to set up an Advanced Analysis environment.
