Controlling Access

You can lock or unlock access to modules; display the users of a module; or clear illegal users, for an individual Module/Company, a whole Module/Company, or the whole system.

To lock/unlock access, display users, or clear illegal users:

From the Autoline Master Menu, select the System utilities option.

The SYSTEM UTILITIES Main Menu is displayed.
Select the Prevent/allow access option.

The Prevent/allow access form is displayed.
The following three options are available to lock/unlock access, display users, or clear illegal users:
- For an individual Module/Company, right-click in the cell
- For a whole Module/Company, right-click the row/column heading
- For the whole system, right-click the top cell on the far left

Prevent/Allow Access Form

This form is displayed when you select the System utilities option from the Autoline Master Menu, then select the Prevent/allow access option from the SYSTEM UTILITIES Main Menu. It enables you to lock or unlock access, display users, or clear illegal users for: an individual Module/Company; for a whole Module/Company; or for the whole system.

Modules are down the left-hand side, and companies across the top.

Buttons:

OK: Confirms the action you have taken and returns you to the SYSTEM UTILITIES Main Menu

Cancel: Cancels any action you have taken and returns you to the SYSTEM UTILITIES Main Menu

Help: Displays help on the current program

Refresh: Refreshes the grid to update any action you have taken
