Users must sometimes be prevented from entering the Sales Ledger - for example, if a systems administrator needs to verify files. Using this option, you can stop new users from entering the Sales Ledger. Also, when current users leave the Sales Ledger, you can prevent them from re-entering it. It is therefore useful to be able to display all users currently logged into the Sales Ledger module. You can also clear users that are illegally logged into the system - for example, those that have not logged out properly or who have had a problem with their PC.
To prevent/allow access to the Sales Ledger, display users, or clear illegal users:
From the Autoline Master Menu, select the Sales Ledger option and the Company you require.
The Sales Ledger Main Menu is displayed.
Select the System maintenance option.
The SL SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Menu is displayed.
Select the Prevent/allow access option.
The Prevent/allow access form is displayed.
You have three options:
To prevent or allow access respectively, select or clear the Status check-box.
To display users, click Display Users.
To clear illegal users, click Clear Illegal Users.
This form is displayed when you select the System maintenance option from the Sales Ledger Main Menu, then the Prevent/allow access option from the SL SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Menu. It enables you to prevent, or allow, access to the Sales Ledger; display users, or clear illegal users.
