Purging Inactive and Expired Call Lists

To purge an inactive or expired call list:

  1. Select the Purge Call Lists button [ Purge expired / non-active lists ] on the Call List Administrator form

    The Purge call lists form is displayed.

  2. To view additional details of an inactive or expired list, select the line in the grid that represents the inactive or expired list

    The Call List Details form is displayed, containing the list record represented by the selected grid line.

  3. To return to the Purge call lists form, select the OK button on the Call List Details form

    You are returned to the Purge call lists form.

  4. To commence deletion, right-click on the form's grid line

    A pop-up menu is displayed containing just one option; Delete call list.

  5. Select the Delete call list option

    The Delete Call list Warnings dialog box is displayed, showing how many uncompleted call records are to be deleted.

  6. To view a final warning, select the Proceed button

    A Delete confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  7. To delete the list, select the Yes button

    You are returned to the Purge call lists form.


Purge Call Lists Form

This form is displayed when you select the Purge Call Lists button [ Purge expired / non-active lists ] on the Call List Administrator form. It enables you to delete inactive and expired call lists.

GRID:

Number: Identifies the list

Description: Indicates the list's origin, typically the export report that it is based on

Active date: When calls may be processed

Expiry date: When the call list returns to offline status and is eligible for purging

Calls left: The number of call records in the list yet to be enacted

Priority: The priority of the calls in this list relative to calls on other lists; 1 being the highest and 9 the lowest, while X means that the list is closed / not live

Note: A priority of X prevents the list from being processed.

Script: Identifies the script associated with the list

Active?: A tick indicates that the record is between its Active date and Expiry date

Expired?: A tick indicates that the Expiry date has been reached
