The Audit facility is accessed via selection of the
icon from the Toolbar section of the
Maintenance Control form and is used to track edits against the selected maintained
vehicle approval.
The form is split into four parts, which are as follows:
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
The contents of the Audit Event Log Display Bar are as follows:
Exit
Exits the Audit Display and returns to the Maintenance Control form.
Provides online context sensitive help information.

Amendments to each of the following elements of the approval are audited:
A columnar display of the following fields provides an itemised audit log of changes made to the approval:
The unique approval number generated within Maintenance Control.
The line number of the item within the approval.
A coded description of the field, which has been, edited e.g. CUSTORD
The user login is displayed here identifying which user has edited a particular field.
Displays the date on which the particular field has been edited
Displays the original value generated for the approval.
Displays the new edited value for the approval.
A single-left-click of the mouse on any of the grey column headers enables the sort of that column in ascending or descending order.
A single-left-click of the mouse on any row item within the audit log displays full Audit Details of that edit. In addition to showing all of the above fields (albeit in a slightly altered format), an additional four fields are displayed:
A unique, sequential record identifier, which is system, generated e.g. 1086
Identifies a specific operation that is carried out within this particular edit e.g. Setto 3111.00.
As well as displaying the edit date the full Audit Details displays the exact time an edit was carried out e.g. 16.10
