Accessed via Maintenance Control and selection of Repairer from the
Review menu option or selection of the
icon from the
Toolbar.
The Repairer Details form displays the details held in the Repairer Tab and Repairer 2 Tab within Address Groups.
In addition to displaying the form name the TitleBar provides a number of other useful identification criteria and buttons.
The content of the Repairer Details menu bar is dependent upon the particular process that is being accessed. The full menu bar contents, however, are as follows:

The Reapirer Details Dialogue Box contains three tabs that display the following fields:
The purchase ledger account used when this address group is selected for Maintenance approvals or repair analysis. It is also used during the search procedure for a maintenance repairer. When issuing an authorisation the system only allows selection of accounts which have an entry in the repairer section of the address group .
A short name for the repairer for easy reference at a later stage.
The area code is a user definable field. The area codes are set up using the Repairer Areas option within Maintenance Control / Miscellaneous Options. They are normally geographical areas, although they may be used to categorise repairer records in other ways.
A two digit numeric code to denote repairer a quality level between 1 and 10. This serves as a good indication of whether the selected record is a preferred repairer or just one that is used by a few drivers due to lack of local choice.
A checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that the repairer is part of the group organisation. As such invoices generated are non-Vatable.
This flag is a memo only item. A checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that the supplier is an authorised body shop and can therefore be used within a list of repairers available for accident repairs.
Notes of any extra points about the repairer may be displayed here.
A checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that the supplier offers a relief vehicle service and that this record may be utilised for short term rentals within the authorisation relief process.
A checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that the selected repairer offers a Valet Service.
A checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that the selected repairer offers a Courtesy vehicle Service.
A checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that the repairer fits parts for free e.g. if tyres are fitted then the customer only pays for the tyre not the fitting.(Notational)
A checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that the selected repairer is prepared to accept all makes of vehicle for servicing or repair.
A checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that the selected repairer is willing to collect and deliver the vehicles for repairs.
If the Collect_Deliver? checkbox is ticked above then this field may be used to denote the collection and delivery radius which the selected repairer is prepared to operate.
Allows for storage of up to five franchise codes so thatt a list of repairers can be maintained for the various franchises required. The field is for memo purposes only, and the franchise codes are verified against the list of franchise codes held in the Franchise Data module.
The franchise code (e.g. FOFord) to be specified.
The full franchise description (e.g. Ford) associated with the selected franchise code.
This field is used to store the basic servicing labour rate.
This field is used to store the normal labour rate for none service work.
This field is used to store the basic bodyshop labour rate.
This field allows entry of the agreed labour discount provided by the supplier.
This field allows entry of the agreed parts discount provided by the repairer.
This field is used to store the basic servicing labour rate.

A default that populates the labour value for this reason code in an approval with the value held within this grid for this repairer.
A reason for repair code (e.g. ALT - Alternator - used when creating approvals within Maintenance Control.
The corresponding value associated with the reason for repair code that is to be used within an approval for this repairer.
A customer specific process. The fleet manager may negotiate a rebate with the repairer should a certain pre-defined value of business be placed with them. These values are held within the Repairer 2 Tab within Address Groups.
This is the figure that may be rebated should the pre-negotiated value of business with the repairer be achieved.
The period in which the pre-negotiated value of business mustbe achieved with the repairer.
The date on whichthe pre-negotiated period expires.
If the repairing garage belongs to a larger group, then a parent group code may be entered here. The system can then access this code to see what value of business is carried out with repairing garages that share the same parent group i.e. the rebate value may be negotiated at parent group level. (This is a three digit free-format alphanumeric code).
A single character alphanumeric field that may be used to determine the rebate status. This is a free-format field.
The repairers insurance details.
The repairers insurance policy number.
The repairers total insurance policy exposure.
