RE-ANALYSE MAINTENANCE HISTORY

Overview

The Re-analyse Maintenance History form is accessed from the Maintenance History form and is utilised to enable a number of the constituent elements of the maintenance history item to be edited.

This form is constituted of four elements, which are as follows:

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.

Menu Bar

The contents of the Re-Analyse Maintenance History menu bar is as follows:

Returns to the Maintenance Review form saving any data amendments to the constituent parts of the selected maintenance history item.

Saves any amendments to the constituent parts of the selected maintenance history item.

Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.

Toolbar

The contents of the full toolbar are as follows:

Returns to the Maintenance Review form saving any data amendments to the constituent parts of the selected maintenance history item.

Saves any amendments to the constituent parts of the selected maintenance history item.

Provides online context sensitive help information to the user.

Re-analyse Maintenance History Dialogue Box

The registration number of the vehicle record that is being viewed.

The odometer reading taken from the invoice. This should be the same as the reading recorded on the approval initially. Provided it is the latest recorded reading, this odometer reading updates the vehicle record at the time the invoice is posted. The recorded odometer reading may be edited in this form.

The repair date of the maintenance history item (This is not the invoice date unless they both happen to be the same).

The reason code for the maintenance history repair line e.g. S27 (27,000 Mile Service)

A single-left-click of the ellipsis button to the right of this field displays a Reason Code search form that enables selection from the current available reason for repair codes. The cursor is located in the search field. Key part or all of the required repair code and select the Repair Code command button. Repair codes matching the entered criteria are displayed and, having selected the required code by highlighting with the mouse, the OK command button is used to confirm this selection and return to the Reasons for Repair form.

The analysis code for the maintenance history repair line e.g. SEWI (Preventative Servicing)

The analysis code relating to the current reason for repair code. A single-left-click of the ellipsis button to the right of this field displays an Analysis Code List Box that enables selection from the current available codes. Having selected the required code by highlighting with the mouse, the OK command button is used to confirm this selection and return to the Reasons for Repair form.

The operation code for the maintenance history repair line e.g. CO(Carry Out)

The operation code relating to the current reason for repair code. A single-left-click of the ellipsis button to the right of this field displays an Operation Code List Box that enables selection from the current available codes. Having selected the required code by highlighting with the mouse, the OK command button is used to confirm this selection and return to the Reasons for Repair form.

The RTS code for the maintenance history repair line e.g. S27

The RTS (Repair Time Schedule) code relating to the current reason for repair code. The RTS code identifies the time taken, units allowed, mechanic experienced to carry out task, etc. Normally the reason code is the same as the RTS code. When creating an approval the Reason for Repair code displays the RTS Description via the link created in this file.

A single-left-click of the ellipsis button to the right of this field displays a RTS Codes search form that enables selection from the current available RTS codes. The cursor is located in the search field. Key part or all of the required RTS code and select the RTS Code command button. RTS codes matching the entered criteria are displayed and, having selected the required code by highlighting with the mouse, the OK command button is used to confirm this selection and return to the Reasons for Repair form.
