Incident Management Event Tab

This tab displays everything that has happened within the incident. The events tab can be updated automatically through Point of Sale or can be manually entered. Click here to create an Event?

Event can be updated (manually or automatically),example stages of an incident being automatically updated could be as follows:

  • Create incident - No event created at this point.
  • When a WIP is saved linked to IM and has a technican allocated. - Event is created automatically.
  • When a WIP is saved linked to IM and has a technican re-allocated.(changed) - Event is created automatically.
  • When the allocated technician completes the job. - Event is created automatically.
  • When the allocated technician suspends the job. - Event is created automatically.
  • When the allocated technician clocks onto the job. - Event is created automatically.
  • When the allocated technician arrives at the job (Cognito only) - Event is created automatically.
  • When a WIP estimate is produced. - Event is created automatically.
  • When the WIP has been invoiced. - Event is created automatically.
  • Manually created events:

  • Customer requires a progress phone call
  • Within the events tab, this comprises of the following fields:

  • Created
  • Time
  • By
  • Event Type
  • Event Action
  • Notes
  • Last updated
  • Time
  • By
  • Follow-up
  • Time
