From the Incident management form, click on the the icon.
Enter the customers surname. The customer search form will appear, displaying any matches to the surname entered, select the correct details.
Select vehicle if owner has more than one vehicle.
Note: If a customer/vehicle has an incident already opened you may be prompted with an additional from, this will enable users to load the existing incident or to create a new one. There is an option to view the events for the existing incident to double check whether the creation of a new incident is required.
This will populate fields on the incident form.
Information should be entered into the following fields, but this is not mandatory:
Vehicle details section.
Customer/Company details section
Note: Some of the above fields may be populated automatically format he details held on the CRM record.
It is advisable that the information in Incident details section for example 'Location' & 'Fault description are completed, as this information is populated to the WIP on POS, also this is useful to other users who may need to look at your incident to acquire information.
Location Type: Click on the
to select your location type from the list provided.
Status: Click on the
to select your status from the list provided.
The other field that can be completed in this section is the mileage field.
Note: The Number, date and time fields will automatically be populated with an incident number, current date and time incident was raised.
Supplier details
Enter the supplier details, if someone else is doing some of the work. i.e. order a recovery vehicle.
From the Incident management form, You can do one of the following to open an incident.
Click on the , this will display
another form, enter in the incident number, click OK.
If you know relevant details about the issue, you can use the filter facility above the grid.
Scroll down the grid, until you find the incident to amend.
Once you have found the incident required, simply click on the incident, this will open
Incident Management form make the relevant changes, then click on
to save the changes.
This may prompt the Event details form, click here to create an event .
