Incident Management Form

The Incident Management form is displayed when you select the Incident management or Incident management (all areas) options from the Incident Management menu. From this form you can create, amend and view incidents.

Within the Incident management option there is a toolbar, these option will be covered in a little more detail later.

(Exit)

Exit - Takes you back to the Incident Management menu.

Point of Sale - Gives you access to either parts or service Point of Sale

Administrator - Gives you access to the administrator diaries etc.

(Amend buffer size)

Amend buffer size - Allows you to control the number of Incident records that are loaded itno the table at each request.

Filter

Within the Incident management for, there is filter section which can be used to assist users to define what incident thay are looking for, the filter has the following fields:

Registration: Enter registration number using question marks as wildcards if required.

Customer: Enter customer name using question marks as wildcards if required.

Owner: Enter owner ID using question marks as wildcards if required.

Creator: Enter operator ID using question marks as wildcards if required.

Incident Type: Enter incident type code using question marks as wildcards if required.

Incident Date: Select an incident date to filter by.

Closed: Include closed incidents.

Locations: Enter location code using question marks as wildcards if required.

Legend

The incident management for defines each incident by colour, the colour defines the age of the incident, these are known as legends, the colours are shown as below:

RED: Overdue

MAGENTA: 1/2 hour

GREEN: 1 hour

BLACK: 4 hours

TEAL: 1 day

BLUE: over 1 day

GREY: Closed, Include closed incidents.

Within the grid, the following fields are displayed, these fields will be displayed in different colours dependant on what status the incident is:

  • Incident Date.
  • Customer.
  • Location.
  • Registration Number.
  • Incident No.
  • Type.
  • Status.
  • Owner.
  • Due Date.
  • Time.
