MAINTENANCE COST BREAKDOWN

Overview

The Maintenance Cost Breakdown form is accessed by carrying out the following procedures:

• Accessing the Approval Issue Tab by selection of either the icon or utilising Issue from the Approval Menu option and completion of the required fields.
• Single-right-click within an repair item line (within the grid at the bottom of the form) to select the Create, Amend or Display menu options from the mini menu.
• Select the icon

This form enables the review of imported third party maintbook costs data used within the approval. This icon is only enabled if a repair item is set-up as a maintbook item i.e. the Reason field displays a Reason for Repair code that has the Maintbook Cost Field and the Maintbook Lab Field populated with cross-referenced maintbook items and their associated values.

This form is constituted of four elements, which are as follows:

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.

Menu Bar

The content of the Maintenance Cost Breakdown menu bar is as follows:

Exit

Exits the current form and returns to the Authorisation form.

Help

Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.

Toolbar

The content of the Maintenance Cost Breakdown toolbar is as follows:

Exits the current form and returns to the Authorisation form.

Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.

Maintenance Cost Breakdown Dialogue Box

The Maintenance Cost Breakdown Dialogue Box contains the following data:

• Parts (Gross)

• Parts Discount %

• Parts (Net)

• Labour Hours

• Labour Rate

• Service Discount %

Labour Cost

• Total

The total of the Parts (Net) and Labour Cost fields giving the total maintenance cost for the approval line (utilising maintbook data).
