The registration number of the currently selected vehicle. This field cannot be edited.
The agreement number to which the currently selected vehicle is attached. This field cannot be edited.
A unique sequential system generated accident number. The next accident number to be used is allocated centrally (when the record is saved) from the System Controls module via the Next Accident Number field. This field cannot be edited.
The driver of the vehicle when the accident occurred.
The location of the accident. This field allows input of up to fifty alphanumeric characters.
The date the accident occurred.
By clicking-on the ellipsis (...) button to the right of either of the date fields a monthly diary screen is displayed in order to assist in establishing the correct date criteria. Selection of the< button moves to the previous month and the> button moves to the next month. Selection of Exit exits the diary screen. A double-click on the appropriate day of the month enters this date into the date field.
The time the accident occurred (This is entered in a 24 hour clock format).
Optional brief notes that may be made in relation to the accident. There are up to 10 lines of thirty characters each available for recording details.
Once the accident record is created and saved the screen is refreshed and now displays the Existing Accidents screen which lists all recorded accidents for the vehicle. This screen may be used to enter further accident details by way of a series of Tabs.
