or Third Party option from the Records menu from the
Accident Record.
This form enables the recording of as many third party names and addresses as required against an accident. This is a useful feature if, for example, the driver is involved in a multiple pile-up on the motorway.
Each record created populates a row within the Third Parties Grid in the Third Parties & Witnesses Tab.
This form is split into four parts that are as follows:
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of other useful identification criteria and buttons.
The content of the New Third Party Record menu bar is as follows:
Exit
Exits to the Accident Record form. If any data changes have been made the system prompts "Do you want to save changes to this accident record?". Select the Yes, No or Cancel command button as appropriate.
Save
Saves any data amendments and returns to the Accident Record form.
Deletes
Deletes the selected third party record.
Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.
The content of the New Third Party Record toolbar is as follows:

The New Third Party Record Dialogue Box contains several data entry fields relevant to the creation of a new third party record and their associated insurance details. These are as follows:
The appropriate salutation for the driver of the third party vehicle involved in the accident e.g. Mr.
The first name of the third-party driver of the vehicle involved in the accident.
The surname of the third-party driver of the vehicle involved in the accident.
The address of the driver of the third party vehicle. Up to four lines of address may be entered.
The postcode of the driver of the third party vehicle. The post code lookup table is available here. The post code should be typed and the TAB key selected; the post code daemon starts and displys the Which Building form from which the appropriate house number may be selected, etc.
The daytime telephone number of the driver of the third party vehicle. This may be their number at work, etc.
The evening telephone number of the driver of the third party vehicle.
A mobile number for the driver of the third party vehicle.
The fax number for the driver of the third party vehicle.
The email address for the driver of the third party vehicle.
The registration number of the vehicle driven by the third party.
The description of the third-party vehicle involved in the accident.
The unique Marketing Magic record number for the third party's insurance company. The insurance company is held as a separate company record within the CRM module. The ellipsis button immediately to the right of this field provides a lookup to the appropriate record within the CRM module.
The name of the third party insurance company.
The address of the third party insurance company. Up to four lines of address may be entered.
The postcode of the third party insurance company.
The telephone number of the third party insurance company.
An alternative telephone number for the third party insurance company.
The fax number for the third party insurance company.
An alternative mobile number for the third party insurance company.
