Add Group

Overview

This form is accessed via Vehicle Administration / Service Schedules / Vehicle Schedules and selection of the ??? icon or Add To Schedule from the Tools menu.

To access the Add Group/Schedule form:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Vehicle Administration option and Company required.

    The Vehicle Administration is displayed.

  2. Select the Service Schedules option.

    The Service Schedules Menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Vehicle Schedules option

    The Service Vehicle Schedule form is displayed.

  4. Select the Open and select a vehicle record via the Fleet Global Search form.

  5. To add an additional schedule/group select the ad icon.

  6. Select a new schedule/group via the Select a Schedule Template form.

    The Add Group form is displayed.

Add Group form

The form is split into three areas. These are the Titlebar, the Add Group Dialogue Box and a series of Command Button to the side of the form.

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.

Add Group Dialogue Box

Contains the following currently fields:

Start Date: The date from which the additional schedule group is to start generating scheduled events.

Generate all events: A checkbox which if ticked, denotes that all events are to be generated from the Registration Date; if left blank, scheduled events are only generated from the Start Date.

Ignore Initial Interval: A checkbox which, if ticked, informs the system to ignore the Initial Time or Initial Odometer values defined with Schedule Template Items Maintenance table i.e. the first defined occurrence of the scheduled event.

Start Odometer: The start odometer from which the scheduled events are to be calculated (id odometer based calculation).

Daily Usage: This is calculated from the vehicle record odometer reading (if available) and Registration Date, else, from the agreement (if no reading available). The value is the number calculated distance travelled in a day and is used to calculate the next odometer based schedule day.

Use as last service?: The scheduled events will update the Last Service date in the CRM Vehicle record.

Command Buttons

The list of command buttons is as follows:

OK: Generates the additional service schedule.

Cancel: Exits the form without generating the schedule.

Help: Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.
