Create Contract (Vehicle Form)

Overview

This enables a new agreement record to be created. The contract may be created manually (via a manual input wizard) or by importing an existing quotation from the Kestrel Quotation system (FQ).

To access the create contract option:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Kompact option and Company required.

    The Kestrel Kompact Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Contract Management option.

    The Contract Management form is displayed.

  3. Select the open2.gif icon.

    The Create Contract form wizard is displayed so that a new agreement may be created by way of either an existing fleet quotation or manual input.

    This is the fifth and final form to be displayed within the wizard sequence.

Create Contract (Vehicle) Dialogue Box

The Create Contract (Vehicle) Dialogue Box contains the following fields:

CRM Vehicle: Enables access to the CRM Vehicle Search form so that an existing CRM vehicle record may be selected for the agreement.

Variant Code: Full vehicle variant description imported from the default data source into the Franchise Data module. Selection of the [...] button immediately to the right of this field displays the Vehicle Selection form allowing selection of the required vehicle variant.

Colour: Colour code of the vehicle. Selection of the [...] button immediately to the right of this field displays a Colours List Box so that the required vehicle colour may be selected. The full colour description is displayed within the second field.

Trim: Trim style supplied to the vehicle. Selection of the [...] button immediately to the right of this field displays a Trims List Box so that the required vehicle trim may be selected. The full trim description is displayed within the second field.

Chassis: Chassis number of the vehicle.

Engine: Engine number of the vehicle.

List Price: Displays the manufacturer's list price for the vehicle.

OTR: Full On The Road value of the specification item. This is the actual total cost paid for the item.

P11D: P11D tax value (list price) for the specification item.

Residual: Residual value of the vehicle.

Net RV: Displays the residual value net of VAT.

Co2: Displays the Co2 emission rating provided by the default data supplier.

Registration: Registration number of the vehicle (if known).

Registered: Date that the vehicle is registered. On the basis of this date the system defines the MOT, RFL and Warranty dates.

Start Odo: Start odometer reading of the vehicle.

Used Vehicle: A checkbox which, if selected, denotes that this is a used vehicle.

Vehicle Type: This field displays the available default vehicle types. A single-click of the Drop-down button to the right of this field enables selection from the current available options:

Qualifying: A checkbox which, if selected, denotes that the vehicle is VAT qualifying.

Engine CC: Cubic Capacity of the engine (for example, 1800) for the selected vehicle.

Fuel Type: Fuel type code applicable to the vehicle for example, Petrol, Diesel, etc.

Factory Fitted Grid

Displays all of the factory fitted options available for selection against the currently selected vehicle variant.

Tip: A single-left click of the mouse places a tick in the left-most column within the grid to denote that this specification item is included within the agreement.

Inclusion Checkbox: A tick within this column denotes that this specification item is included within the agreement.

Description: Full individual specification item description for example, Satellite Navigation.

P11D: P11D tax value for the specification item. (A total is displayed at the bottom of the column for all specification items included).

List: Displays the original quoted list price of the individual specification item. (A total is displayed at the bottom of the column for all specification items included).

Dealer Fitted Grid

Displays all of the dealer fitted options available for selection against the currently selected vehicle variant.

Tip: A single-left click of the mouse places a tick in the left-most column within the grid to denote that this specification item is included within the agreement.

Inclusion Checkbox: A tick within this column denotes that this specification item is included within the agreement.

Description: Full individual specification item description for example, Tow Bar.

P11D: P11D tax value for the specification item. (A total is displayed at the bottom of the column for all specification items included).

List: Displays the original quoted list price of the individual specification item. (A total is displayed at the bottom of the column for all specification items included).
