Change Driver

Overview

This option presents the Change Driver form which enables a new or alternative driver record to be allocated to an agreement.

To access the change driver option:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Kompact option and Company required.

    The Kestrel Kompact Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Contract Management option.

    The Contract Management form is displayed.

  3. Select the Open icon.

    The Contract Search form is displayed.

  4. Enter the appropriate information to locate the required agreement.

  5. Select the Edit icon.

  6. Select the Agreement shortcut from the menu on the left of the form.

  7. The contract management Agreement Tab is displayed.

  8. Select Change Driver from the Tools Menu.

    The Change driver form is displayed.

  9. Either enter the new driver code in the Driver field or search for the required driver by using the [...] button.

This form is split into three parts that are as follows:

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of other useful identification criteria and buttons.

Change Driver Dialogue Box

The Change Driver Dialogue Box contains the following fields:

Driver: Upon entry to the form this field displays the customer record code for the existing driver (if one exists - else it is blank) currently associated with the agreement under review.

Selection of the [...] button immediately to the right of this field presents a blank Customer Target Record form that enables a new customer record to be found and allocated against the agreement.

Driver Name: The full CRM customer name associated with the selected CRM record.

COMMAND BUTTONS:

The following command buttons are available within this form:

OK: Confirms the newly selected customer record and returns to the Agreement form updating the appropriate fields. Fields that are updated are as follows: fields contained in the Driver Tab within Contract Management and the Driver field contained in the Agreement Tab within Contract Management.

Cancel: Returns to the Agreement form without taking any action.

Help: Displays online context-sensitive help using the default browser.
