History Review

Overview

The History Review form enables all of the constituent elements of the maintenance history repair record to be viewed.

TIP: A single-right-click on any maintenance history row enables this item to be reviewed or re-analysed (if not yet posted).

To access the History Review form:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Kompact option and Company required.

    The Kestrel Kompact Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Contract Management option.

    The Contract Management form is displayed.

  3. Select the Open icon.

    The Contract Search form is displayed.

  4. Enter the appropriate information to locate the required agreement.

  5. Select the Edit icon.

  6. Select the (maintenance.gif) shortcut from the menu on the left of the form.

  7. Select the History Tab.

  8. Single-right-click on any maintenance history row and select the Review option.

This form is constituted of three elements, which are as follows:

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.

Details Tab

The following maintenance history fields are displayed:

Registration: The registration number of the vehicle record that is being viewed.

System Number: The unique sequential record number allocated by the system to an approval record.

This originates from the Next Approval field within System Controls.

Sequence: A sequential ID number generated each time a line is created or an existing line is amended within an approval. The session name can then be cross-referenced with the user ID to establish who/when an approval was edited.

User System Number:

Authorisation Issuer: The user id of the user who initially creates the approval.

Authorisation Issued: The date on which the approval is initially created.

Authorisation Time: The time at which the approval is initially created.

Last Amendment User: The user id of the user to have last edited the approval.

Last Amended: The date on which the approval was last edited.

Last Amended Time: The time at which the approval was last edited.

Other Details Tab

Service Rental Invoiced: This field records whether the Service Contract rental has been generated. If the checkbox is ticked then this denotes Yes; if the checkbox is NOT ticked then this denotes No.

Service Rental Invoiced (Date): Records the date the Service Rental was generated.

Command Buttons

A number of command buttons are available as follows:

OK: Exits the Review form and effects a return to the previous form.

Help: Displays online context-sensitive help using the default browser.
