Remarketing a Vehicle Process

This form details the process for the disposal of a terminated vehicle.

What do you want to do?

The following step by step process should be followed:

Access the remarketing option

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Kompact option and Company required.

    The Kestrel Kompact Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Contract Management option.

    The Contract Management form is displayed.

  3. Select the Open icon.

    The Contract Search form is displayed.

  4. Enter the appropriate information to locate the required agreement (This must be an agreement at Terminated status).

  5. Select the edit icon.

  6. Select the (terminations.gif) shortcut.

  7. The Contract Management form is presented displaying the Termination Tabs.

  8. Select the Remarketing Tab.

Completing the Remarketing Tab

  1. Either enter the Sales Ledger Account code directly or search using the [...] button.

  2. Accept the invoice Name and Address or amend as necessary.

  3. Accept the Est sale price or amend as necessary.

  4. Enter the Actual sale priceand Sold odometer field values.

  5. Select the Sale icon (or Sale vehicle from the Tools menu).

    The Vehicle Sale form is displayed.

Completing the Vehicle Sale form

  1. Accept the Invoice dated date or amend as necessary.

  2. Accept the VAT code or amend as necessary.
  3. Enter narrative in the Misc text box if required.

  4. Select the Post command button.

  5. Select the required printer and select the OK command button.
