SUPPRESS REVENUE

Overview

Accessed by way of the Contract Review form followed by selection of Suppress Revenue from the Tools Menu. This presents the Suppress Revenue form which allows the budget postings to be suppressed. (The Suspend Agreement option enables the suspension of invoicing to the customer; however, budget postings are allowed to go through to the Nominal Ledger each period).

The Suppress Revenue option is not enabled until the Suspend Agreement option is actioned.

This form is split into three parts that are as follows:

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of other useful identification criteria and buttons.

Suppress Revenue Dialogue Box

The Suppress Revenue Dialogue Box contains the following field:

The date from which the customer budget posting revenue is to be suppressed. This defaults to the system date.

Selection of the down-arrow-button immediately to the right of this field displays a monthly diary form in order to assist in establishing the correct date criteria. Selection of the < button moves to the previous month and the > button moves to the next month. Selection of Exit exits the diary form. A double-click on the appropriate day of the month enters this date into the Suspend From field.

Command Buttons

The following command buttons are available within this form:

Suppresses the revenue budget postings for the selected contract.

Sets the contract back to Live, allowing the system to catch-up budget postings to the present date.

Returns to the Contract Review form following selection of the required option.

Provides online context sensitive help.
