PRINT

Overview

Displays the Print Selection Dialogue Box the content of which may change dependent upon whether it is accessed by way of Quotations, Quotations Print or Ratesbooks.

Destination:

A series of mutually exclusive option/radio buttons that enables the appropriate print output to be selected:

Directs the printed document to the currently selected printer (shown in parentheses) which may be the main spooler or, alternatively, a local KPrint printer, for example.

Enables the document to be directly fax to a customer, for example, utilising the modem attached to the server.

Generates the document within an format enabling it to be emailed directly to the appropriate party.

Generates the document within an HTML format enabling it to be viewed within a browser by selecting the Browse command button following the completion of the report run.

Exports the document to Excel for viewing or further manipulation.

Enables selection of the appropriate item to be printed; the current available options (dependent on from where the print routine is being accessed) are as follows:

Quotation

Ratesbook

A single-click of the mouse will highlight and select the required option.

As part of a requirement to have a tender makeup sheet format (Tender Backing Sheet) there is the facility to be able to print multiple makeup sheet documents. The functionality to be able to select a series of quotes by Customer name, between dates, between quote numbers already exist in the 'Quotation Print' function. This functionality has been enhanced via a series of Optional Mult Quote Print Format (1 - 5) format fields within the Qte Reps & formats Tab in System Parameters to allow different print formats to be selected when the print button is selected.

Command Buttons

This command button will print the required selection to the chosen printer destination and return to the previous form. Only saved quotations/ratesbooks may be printed.

Returns to the previous form without actioning a print command.

Provides online context sensitive help.
