Note: This help system contains standard information, some of which might not apply to your franchise. There might be a help file specific to your Autoline configuration. It could be either in the help system specific to your manufacturer, or displayed when you click the Help button on the relevant form or menu.
If a mapping file is supplied by the manufacturer, during conversion of the labour codes file, Autoline builds a new mapping table using generic index files specified in the labour time parameters. If a mapping file is supplied by the manufacturer, the mapping file must be set up before you upload and convert labour codes. This is normally carried out by Software Support.
Note: It is unlikely that you will need to change the mapping file unless advised to do so. Any changes you make will be overwritten the next time an update is uploaded.
For details of the contents of the mapping file, refer to the manufacturer's own documentation.
To access the mapping file:
From the Autoline Master menu, select the Manufacturer systems Module and the appropriate Company.
The Operations menu is displayed.
Select the Labour code menu option.
Note: The Labour code menu option might be differently worded and the Labour Code menu might have a different title, depending on your Autoline configuration.
The Labour Code menu is displayed.
Select the Mapping file option.
The Mapping file form is displayed.
