Model Analysis Codes

The model analysis code is used to provide broad model analysis regardless of specific model code. In a multi-franchise environment it can be used to group all compact vehicles, as opposed to small saloons, medium saloons, executive saloons, sports, etc. Even in a single franchise environment, it can provide continuity across model changes such as Ford Escort being replaced by Ford Focus, or Ford Sierra being replaced by Ford Mondeo, etc. In that way, using the model analysis code, vehicle and sales analysis data across different specific model life-times is possible.

When choosing the Model Analysis codes option you will be displayed the following fields:

Model analysis code: This field is used to input the model analysis code.

Analysis code desc: This field is used to input the description of the analysis code, or the default may be used.

Tip: If model analysis in this way is not required, then a single code of blank should be set up and, you will be able to pass over this field when creating or amending models or model variants.

Buttons.

Exit: Returns you to the Miscellaneous Options menu.

Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.

Warning: When deleting records from this table, or amending the definition of existing codes, full consideration should be given to the impact on the existing CRM company database so far as any records which may refer to the code or codes being deleted are concerned.
