The History Defaults form is accessed via Miscellaneous Options / History Defaults and is an option that only needs to be run following system set-up.
This option references the maintenance history file and compares items against the maintenance Analysis Codes that have been created. This procedure ensures that the correct maintenance analysis code is allocated to an historical maintenance item.
This option does not require any periodical attention unless under advice of ADP support staff.
The form is split into three areas. These are the Titlebar, the History Defaults Dialogue Box and a series of Command Buttons at the bottom of the form.
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
This form displays the following two mutually exclusive menu options:
Aborts the procedure and returns to the Miscellaneous Options Menu.
Proceeds with the cross-referencing of historical maintenance items against existing analysis codes.
A number of command buttons are available:
Confirms and proceeds with the selected menu option.
Cancels any menu options and returns to the Miscellaneous Options Menu.
Provides online access to a context sensitive Helpform.
