System Parameters (Web Auto-Approve Tab)

Overview

The Web Auto-Approve Tab is used to define general top-level system defaults for the Internet Auto-Approval interface.

To access the System Parameters Web Auto-Approve Tab:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Maintenance Control option and Company required.

    The Maintenance Control menu is displayed.

  2. Select the System Maintenance option.

    The System Maintenance menu is displayed.

  3. Select the System Parameters option.

  4. Select the Web Auto-Approve Tab.

The following fields are displayed:

Allow Web Approvals: A top-level checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that web approvals (the authorization of repairs online) are permitted for suppliers.

Check Labour Rate Against Accounts: A checkbox that, when ticked, ensures that expected labour rates are matched against the repairer record before an approval is given.

Enforce Discounted Labour Rate: A checkbox that, when ticked, ensures that expected labour rate discount rates on the repairer record are used for an approval.

Allow Web-User to Change Reason Text: A checkbox that, when ticked, enables the supplier to change the Reason for Repair text for an approval in order to clarify/explain the repair.

Minimum Rejection Value: The minimum value for valid web entries i.e. the maximum value to accept without validation.

Maximum Value to Authorise: : The maximum value for which an approval may be authorised.

Odometer Input Variance Tolerance (%): The maximum allowable percentage fluctuation (+/-) allowed between the system calculated estimated mileage and the actual odometer reading provided by the supplier.

Number of Days to check Back for Duplicate Item: The number of days to check back for a duplicate reason code when validating approval entry.

Distance to Check Back for Duplicate Item: The distance to check back for duplicate reason code when validating approval entry.
