System Controls

Overview

The system controls play an important part in the default settings and values in much the same way as the system parameters. The values that are controlled here are not able to be amended by a typical user.

The System Controls form is used to define (at set-up) the stationary formats to be used when printing delivery and collection documents. The controls may be viewed or edited. If amendments are to be made then the Amend button is to be selected first, then Save is to be selected upon completion. Cancel may be selected at any time to exit without saving any amendments.

The changes only come into effect upon exit of the Movement control module and then returning to it again from the main menu.

Note: System Controls are only editable from Company 00.

To access the system controls:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Movement Control option and Company required.

The Movement Control menu is displayed.

  2. Select the System maintenance option.

The FD System Maintenance menu is displayed.

  3. Select the System controls option.

The System controls form is displayed.
