Selection of the Drop-down button immediately to the right of this field displays the current list of available options for example, S- Standard Rate.

A Contract in deemed to be Vatable if it is not a Purchase type contract per FM Lease types i.e. the system validates the FM.agree.PURCHASE field as either Y or N.

Selection of the Drop-down button immediately to the right of this field displays the current list of available options for example, E- Exempt.

Other Revenue: Check box which, if selected, denotes that an Other Revenue charge is required to be calculated for use within the Early Termination charges.

Tip: Other revenue is generated from specific profi records

Note: Extra days can only be added at the Final Procedure.

Next Disposal: Bulk disposal number used within the bulk disposal costs.

Note: The value of this number should not be reduced. If a change is required to this number please ensure that the value is increased or the system may be forced to try to hold duplicate keys.

This is used in conjunction with the Terminations Re-Marketing/ Bulk disposal costs option; the number increments for each new entry of a supplier.

No Disposal VAT: VAT code applicable to Non-Vatable charges raised within Remarketing.

Selection of the Drop-down button immediately to the right of this field displays the current list of available options for example, E- Exempt.

A Contract in deemed to be Vatable if it is not a Purchase type contract per FM Lease types i.e. the system validates the FM.agree.PURCHASE field as either Y or N.

Disposal VAT: VAT code applicable to Vatable charges raised within Remarketing (i.e. the Gross VAT Code in the Basic Details Tab).

Selection of the Drop-down button immediately to the right of this field displays the current list of available options for example, S- Standard Rate.

Maximum Extension: Maximum number of periods that any contract is allowed to be informally extended.

Auto-Extension Method: Determines how long agreements meeting the automatic informal extension criteria are to be extended for. This is typically for One Period or to the End of Month. Selection of the Drop-down button immediately to the right of this field displays the current available options.

Auto-Extension Advance Days: Determines the date displayed in the Extension Date field within this Automatic Informal Extension form i.e. if 30 days is set within this field then the Extension Date displays a date thirty days into the future.

Allow Zero WDV: Check box which, if selected, denotes that the system will not depreciate the value of the vehicle beyond a zero value.

Allow Zero Residual: A check box which, if selected, denotes that the system enables the vehicle to have a zero residual value.

Automatic Terminations: This field works in conjunction with the Auto Term after field and Auto Term basis field. Automatic Terminations are enabled if this field is selected. All contracts meeting the selection criteria (Live & with an end date + x no of days ) will have a Termination quote generated if one does not exist.

Auto Term After: Number of days offset from the agreement end date.

Auto Term basis: Basis to use when generating the termination quote.

Pro-Rata Contract Miles by Days: Check box which This acts as a catch all option but can be set at Lease type level (by using the Pro-Rata Contract Miles by Days field in the Main Details Tab of the Lease Type as well as Address Group Level.

On early terminating a contract the system calculates the pro-rated contract mileage on a daily miles basis. This works particularly well if the customer is given part month credits. However, in instances where the customer is not given part month credits, the pro-rated contract mileage is calculated on the number of periods.

If the check box is selected then the system uses the current calculation method:

(FM.agree.AGREEMILES / (FM.agree.ENDS - FM.agree.START) +1 ) x (Quoted end date - Start date)

If the check box is not selected then the system uses the new calculation method:

(FM.agree.AGREEMILES / FM.agree.PERIOD ) x FT.termi.PERIOD.

Note:If, however, the contract is an informal extension, the system will disregard the new parameters and base the contract miles to date on a day NOT period basis.

Use CAP Black Book: Check box which, if selected, enables the lookup and storage of CAP valuation data against the Vehicle record, Termination record and Disposal record. This enables a lookup to the CAP blackbook database, firstly when offering guide valuations to drivers/customers and secondly as a reporting aid when calculating disposal profitability against market expectations at the time of selling the vehicle. For both routines a lookup from the vehicle registration back to the black book data set for any given mileage reading, returns a value based on the vehicles' condition, (clean, average and below average) with a predicted retail figure. These values, along with the month identifier for the CAP values are stored for reporting purposes.

Default profit: This is the default profit used in conjunction with user defined calculations. This is customer bespoke to the Hitachi ET form.

Amend depn?: Amended depreciation charged on informal extensions. This field is used in conjunction with Amend depn % field.

Amend depn %: Depreciation percentage to be applied if the Amend depn? check box is selected.

Allow washout on primary: Check box which, when selected, enables an agreement to be washed out if not sold. The system displays a warning message to the user if running the manual washout process. If running the auto-washout process the system simply continues the process.

Automatic Extension Type

Contract Hire Extension Period: Specifies the number of months for which a Contract Hire agreement is to be automatically extended. The Automatic Extension Type field on the Lease Type determines whether a specific lease type is deemed to be Contract Hire, Buy Back or Other.

Buy Back Extension Period: Specifies the number of months for which a Buy Back agreement is to be automatically extended. The Automatic Extension Type field on the Lease Type determines whether a specific lease type is deemed to be Contract Hire, Buy Back or Other.
