The Spend analysis expense code mapping option allows you to map a Nominal ledger expense code to a posting type and group.
The spend analysis expense code mapping form is opened when you take the option from the CRM miscellaneous options menu
The form is a Autoline gedit form with a single details tab, further information about these forms is available from the link in related topics.
The form has three fields which are:-
Expense Code: This is the Nominal Ledger Expense code which relates to the transactions.
Type: This is the type of transaction this can be on of the following.
Analysis Code: this is the group which you want the transaction to be included in when you look at the Spend analysis grid.
The basic functions of the form conform to the usual GEDIT form functions. You will be able to select an existing mapped expense code from the ellipsis this will display a list from which you can select the expense code. Once selected the amend and delete option can be used. When creating a new map after selecting the create option and clicking the ellipsis
you will be able to see a complete list of Nominal Ledger expense codes to choose from.
Warning:Care must be taken when selecting the expense code from the list as those that have already been mapped to a sales type and analysis code will still be available for selection
What ever function you are preforming in the form the type and analysis codes can be selected using the drop down and selecting the required information from the list displayed.
