The up-selling record option from the Point of Sale then Miscellaneous option enables records to be created for the use with Wip Wizard, Vehicle Health Check and PDA/Remote Applications .
The tree structure is used to create layers of up-sell records. This is particularly used in the Vehicle Health Check application. In this application layers are created first to act as headers on the VHC form and then items are created below this. It will only be Items that are loaded to a POS Wip in the VHC application.
What do you want to do?
This form is displayed when you click Point of Sale > Miscellaneous Options > Up-selling records. It displays an input form to create or edit Up-selling records.
You can expand or collapse the browser elements to see more or fewer sub entries. A plus sign (+) next to an element indicates that you can expand it to show more sub entries. A minus sign (-) indicates that you can collapse it.
Because every installation of Autoline is uniquely configured, your installation might not include all the elements in this list.
Additionally, access permissions, called priorities, determine whether a particular element is displayed. Each element is assigned a priority when the program is installed. Your administrator assigns each user a priority. Any browser element whose priority is higher than your own is omitted from the browser. If you think you need access to an element described in this help but it does not appear in the actual browser, check with your administrator.
The Tree Structure is built up as you create Layers and Items. The order they appear in is always:-
1. Layer
2. Items (Although Items can be created independently of a Layer).
The Tree can open its branches to reveal an Item that lies beneath it, by clicking the Add field button
alongside it. To edit open the tree structure to reveal the line, highlight the line then take the Edit option (either from the menu bar icon or from the File Option in the menu bar).

In the Vehicle Health Check program, Layers are created first to act as headers on the VHC form and then Items are created below this. Only Items are loaded to a Point-of-Sale Wip in the VHC program.
Under each layer New Items can be created. These can be created as Part Numbers, RTS codes or 00 menu codes. It is usual for VHC to only use RTS codes, as these load individual menu codes to a Wip.
Tip: To aid monitoring and future reporting it is recommended that Unique RTS codes are created to only be used in the VHC application.
