For every valid Nominal Ledger company or Division, an Accounts company record must be created.
To access the Accounts companies:
From the Autoline Master Menu select the Nominal Ledger option and the company you require.
Select the System Maintenance option.
The NL System Maintenance menu is displayed.
Select the Accounts companies option.
The Accounts Companies form is displayed.
The following fields are available for amending:
Accounts company: The Company identifier.
NL company: This field contains the actual Nominal Ledger company number, which is either the same as the Accounts company number (the key to the record) if it is a genuine company record, or the number of the company to which a Division belongs.
Description: An up to 30-character narrative can be entered here to describe the accounts company or division.
Company or Division: This field has two possible values of either C if this record supports a genuine Nominal Ledger company, or D if it is a record of a Division within a Company.
