The Internet EOY agent details option is a part of the internet end of year returns system, the Internet EOY agent details option will only appear on the PR SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu if the End of Year returns via internet system parameter is ticked on set up by an Autoline consultant, the PAYE reference for the current payroll company uses an Agent and you are a priority 8+ user.
The main function of the Internet EOY agent details option is to allow for the set up of parameters for use by an agent for submitting client data to HM Revenue & Customs via the Government Gateway.
To access Internet EOY agent details:-
The Payroll Password form is displayed.
Enter your payroll password.
The PAYROLL menu is displayed.
Select the System maintenance option.
The PR SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu is displayed.
Select the Internet EOY agent details option.
The Internet EOY agent details form is displayed.
The Internet EOY agent details form is displayed when the Internet EOY agent details option is selected from the PR SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu. The option will only be shown on the menu if the Internet EOY return parameters are set up for an Agent type submission.
Standard functionality exists that allows you to maintain records.
The Internet EOY agent details must be set up in order for the agent to be able to submit client payroll data to HM Revenue & Customs.
The uniqueness to each Internet EOY agent record is by the agent user id.
Agent user ID: 12 character id issued by the Government Gateway.
Agent password: 12 character password declared during the agent registration process. Test submissions will use testing1. # signs are shown as the password is entered. The password must be entered twice for verification purposes whenever it is changed.
Agent gateway ID: 35 character agent gateway identifier issued by the Government Gateway, this is a combination of the organisation name declared and some other characters.
Company name: 35 character company name of the agent. This is sourced from the employer record if your company is submitting data itself as an agent.
Agent full address: 5 rows of 35 character for the agent address. This is sourced from the employer record if your company is submitting data itself as an agent.
Agent postcode: 9 character agent postcode. This is sourced from the employer record if your company is submitting data itself as an agent.
Title: 4 character contact title for reference.
Forename: 24 character contact forename for reference.
Surname: 24 character contact surname for reference.
Email: 128 character contact Email address for reference.
Telephone: 16 character contact telephone number for reference.
