The upselling record option from the Point of Sale Miscellaneous option allows options to be created for the use with WIP Wizard
Record number: Enter reference number of the up-sell record or
click on the 
to select from the defined list.
Franchise code: This code is driven from franchise data. Click on the 
to select the franchise code required.
Model code: This code is driven from franchise data. Click on the to select the model code required. This field will only display models
available dependant on which franchise code is selected. If option to select all
franchises is chosen, then all model codes for all franchises will be
displayed.
Variant code: This code is driven from franchise data. Click on the
to select the variant code if required. This field will only
display variants dependant on which franchise and model has been selected
previously.
Note: The up sell record; can be set at franchise model and/or variant level or for ALL Franchise, Models & Variants. Ensure that you all franchise codes within franchise data all have a single-letter identifier attached to them, if this is left blank, then the option of 'all franchises' will not work.
Service Model code: This code is used in the Service Point-of-Sale system to determine the correct allowed time for a specific operation. It can be held as a cross-reference either at the model level if all variants are allocated the same Service model code, or it can be cross-referenced at a variant level.
Tip: If there are different times for the same operation within the same model range and no code is found on the variant record, then the CRM Vehicle record maintenance program will look at this field on the Model record.
Product Type: Click on the to select the appropriate type a 'M' for menu code or R for RTS code to be used.
Menu/RTS Code: Click on the to select the
available Menu or RTS code applicable for the record, this field will only
display relevant codes, this is dependant on what was selected in the previous
two fields (Product type & Menu/RTS Company). If an RTS or menu code is not
entered, then the option will not be displayed, when going through the
wizard.
Production Description: Enter the full up-sell product description (example: Deluxe Valet). This is a free text field.
Main or Addition: If an 'M' is entered into the field, this will enable this record to be displayed on the main option form within the WIP wizard. If an 'A' is entered into this field, then it will display on the additional option form within the WIP Wizard.
Service Code: This field is driven from CRM. Click on the to select the appropriate service code required.
Type: This field hold three selection types, 'M' for Mileage,
'A' for Age, 'D' for date. Click on the to
select the appropriate type required.
Mileage or age interval: This field should be completed with appropriate information dependant what has been selected on the 'Type' field.
Minimum value: Enter value (if applicable). This field will change its look dependant what is selected in the 'Type' field.
Maximum value: Enter value (if applicable). This field will change its look dependant what is selected in the 'Type' field.
This field allows users to enter 4 lines of any additional notes to display when using the WIP wizard.
