Sales Type Codes

The Sales Order Types form is displayed when you select the Sales type codes option from the SR Miscellaneous Options Menu.

Sales type codes are used for analysing purposes on vehicles, they also relate to postings in the nominal posting tables.

Sale type: Enter a one character field. Normally R = Retail, F = Fleet, etc.

Description: Enter a description of the sale type. This is used in searches.

MK Vehic STATUS: The status of which the CRM vehicle record will be changed once an invoice is produced.

MK targt COSTCENT: Target cost centre details.

Buttons:

Exit: Returns to the SR Miscellaneous Options Menu.

Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser.

Adhoc: Displays Adhoc enquiries. This can be used to find information held for the option you are currently using.

Grid: Will alter the display of the screen to use a grid format, use the Column button to return to a Column display.

Sort: Use this function to sort the data into a different Key path held on the file being used.

Reverse: Used in conjunction with sort to reverse the sort order backwards.

Start at: Enter a starting point to search and then sort.

Finish at: Enter a Finishing point to end search and the sort.

Create: Click to create a new option with within this file.

Delete: Click to delete a pre loaded option.

Warning: You will not be prompted to confirm the deletion, please make sure you are deleting the correct option. Any errors here can not be easily be rectified.

Cancel: Will only be enabled when in amend or create mode.

Save: Will only be enabled when in amend or create mode.

Next: Click to display the next line / option held, this is only enabled in display mode.

Previous: Click to display the previous line / option held, this is only enabled in display mode.

Refresh: Is only used when in column grid, it enables a user to refresh the screen at any point.

Auto refresh: Is only used when in column grid, refreshes the screen after a filter / search.

Column: Returns to the column display.

Fields: Click to produce a list of fields held in the file you are looking at, select a fields by clicking and press ok, this will bring this filed to the start of the grid. This is only available in grid display.

Additional Options

Filters:

A filter can only be used in grid display and will only filter on the first ten options. To use: right click on a row to produce list of filter options.

Edit row: Will highlight the row and allow the user to amend

Insert row: Will create a new row - edit row to enter data.

Delete row: Will delete a row.

Filter row: Will produce selection criteria box.

Tip: Click the required radio button and enter the search into the blank box and click OK. If using a range search it will enable both boxes and allow to use an inclusive search option contained within a check box.

Warning: You will not be prompted to confirm the deletion of a row, please make sure you are deleting the correct option. Any errors here can not be easily be rectified.
